I have a background in engineering and architecture.. Although they were not my majors, my background has suited me well in production design and technology..
My work in Los Angeles allowed me to design several studios including my own residence and studio. My grandfather was a Master Builder and Modernist in the 1960s. His design aesthetics exposed me to the sensibilities of Herman Miller, Ames, Knoll and Frank Lloyd Wright.
I have my own unique style especially with fabrications. Modernism should have a warm and inviting uniqueness. I don’t like off-the-shelf common approaches. I would rather put my own spin on design with a strong vision that inspires everyday living as an personal extension of one’s self

Ash Beck is a formally trained artist and known Visualist in the entertainment industry, creating some of the most iconic visual designs for music videos and feature films. He has associated works in the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) New York, contributions to several Grammy Awards and many Clio Awards. His personal style is very distinctive in creating an inspiring mood through environmental design. Beck has brought forth his first design collection that are key features for the modern home. These designs originated from building out several creative studios in Los Angeles, set designs and his first case study home & residence in Hermosa Beach, CA.
